Art is a passion that chooses you. Against all rationality, practicality, and in the face of under appreciation, the desire to create is a beast you can not fight.

I personally, learning the hard way, pursued other avenues as a career choice at the persistence of others which resulted in unhappiness and depression.

(Though creating art in itself is not a key to happiness. It just makes the world a little more bearable, and interesting)

Although I did well in these other courses of action, deep down I ultimately knew they would fail because they went against my nature and desire.
